The Dog and the Butcher was created by Jonathan Holt and done as his senior thesis for the Ringling College of Art and Design in Florida. You'll find some extra art for this short on his portfolio blog. The plot of the short could have been less predictable. It desperately needs one good gag added somewhere towards the end. I did still like the short because I enjoyed the dog's design and loved the look of the environment surrounding him. Take a look and decide for yourselves.
